Welcome to the Brookings School District Special Services Site! 

Thank you for visiting our site. We are very proud of the programs and services we provide to students in our district. Please feel free to look around on our site and contact me directly if you have any questions. 

Here is some basic information about our programs. The Brookings School District provides special education services to approximately 600 students in our schools. We serve children from birth to age 21, who are determined to be in need of special education services.  Our students are served by a wonderful team of professionals, including qualified special education teachers, special education teaching assistants, speech/language therapists, occupational and physical therapists as well as school psychologists and behavior specialists.
