School Mission Statement: Strengthening foundations and igniting a love of learning as learners pursue a lifelong quest for success.

Camelot Intermediate School serves approximately 540 4th- 5th grade students. Established in August of 2009, Camelot came about as a result of looking at ways to equalize and improve the educational opportunities for Brookings students.  Camelot Intermediate School can be further defined by innovative teachers and programs.  Camelot became a one-to-one school in 2020, enabling every student a personal device.. Content-based teacher teams enable targeted assistance and curricular depth as well as a team perspective in evaluation and planning for each learner's success.

Camelot staff consists of a principal, two counselors, 31 intermediate teachers, an administrative assistant, and several teaching assistants.
