MMS Announcements

  • MMS Science Olympiad team finished in 4th place at State Tournament on Saturday at USD.  MMS had 2 first place wins, 2 second place wins and 5 third place wins in various events
    Team members included
    8th graders    Trisha Sharan and Bija Kasu
    7th graders   Jannis Bueking, Andrew Sternhagen, Liam Wiltse, and Alex Shore
    6th graders    Xavier St. Pierre, JC St. Pierre, Jacob Saunders and Kyle Tan

  • Congratulations to the students who attended State Mathcounts this past weekend on a successful day!  The team, consisting of Albert Shore, Vanessa An, Rebecca Michna, and Sampada Nepal, received 1st place.  Individually, Sampada placed 2nd, Vanessa placed 3rd, Albert placed 6th, Ethan Peng placed 7th, Rebecca placed 8th, and Stefan Brozel placed 19th.  Ethan also took home 1st place in the Countdown round!  Sampada and Vanessa's scores have qualified them for the National competition in Orlando this May!

  • FCCLA members who will be going to the state meeting must stop by the FACS room during S.I. today to pick up their informational packet for the state meeting.  Documents that need signing must be returned no later than Friday.

  • Mr. Jacobsen needs to see all the 7th Grade Oral Interpers really quick at the end of the day today to pick up info for Saturday’s competition in Milbank.

  • We will begin going until 3:22 on Wednesdays starting next Wednesday, March 27th. Our last day of school will be May 31st and students will be done at noon.

  • There will be a meeting for any 7th and 8th grade student interested in track on Thursday, March 28th right after school in the cafeteria. Track practice will start Monday, April 1st.
