8th grade students who missed the classroom presentation/information on high school registration during their science class need to meet in Mrs.Meyer's room on Thursday, January 17th. The Brookings Youth Leadership Academy will be providing through the City of Brookings and the Brookings Public Library a free summer program for students who are in 6th-8th grade in the current academic year.
The Brookings Youth Leadership Academy will be a 10-week program that emphasizes the importance of connecting with our community, discussing challenges, opportunities and facilitating discussions of leadership. This program is being created specifically for middle school students from Brookings and the surrounding communities. More information may also be found at the Brookings Public Library.
