Intermediate school years are vital for developing the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for young children to become healthy, competent and confident learners. Our roles as a professional School Counselor are to facilitate these goals. Through a comprehensive developmental school counseling program, we work as a team with our school staff, parents and the students to create a positive learning environment. We believe that by providing education, prevention, early identification and intervention, school counselors can help assist all children achieve academic success.
School counselors are an important part of the educational leadership team and provide valuable assistance to students regardless of whether they work in an elementary school or middle school, high school or beyond.
