Welcome to February, Bobcat Families!
Love is in the air at Camelot this month, and we're excited to share all the heartwarming activities and important information for February!
This month brings opportunities to connect with your child's teachers during our Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences on February 10th and 12th. We've designed a thoughtful two-night format: Tuesday, February 10th, features staff-requested conferences where your child's teaching team will meet with selected families, while Thursday, February 12th, offers an open house format where any and all families are welcome to drop in. The Book Fair will also be open both evenings, so be sure to stop by! Please remember there's no school on February 13th (comp day) and February 16th (President's Day).
We're celebrating National School Counselors' Week, February 2-6, with fun dress-up days, and continuing our attendance focus with the "Every Day Counts, Every Heart Matters" challenge throughout the month. We're also excited about the Kids Heart Challenge launching in PE class—a wonderful opportunity for learners to focus on heart health while learning life-saving skills like CPR!
You'll find updates about the upcoming fourth-grade NAEP assessment on March 3rd (watch for a separate email), information about our exciting Disability Awareness T-Shirt fundraiser, and details about a valuable Smart Social event on Roblox and Minecraft safety happening February 5th. Don't miss the February Encore schedule featuring updates from ACES, PE, Music, Library, and Art classes!
Mark your calendars for the All District Band Concert on February 26th and the PTA Movie Night on March 27th. We're grateful for our PTA's continued support, including providing meals for our teachers during conference nights!
