Today we’re celebrating Mrs. Amy Anderson! She's the energy behind our front office! If you’ve ever stepped into our school, you know Mrs. Anderson is the first face you see as she is welcoming students, staff, and families with a smile and keeping the day moving right along. No two days are ever the same, and she handles it all with heart, hustle, and a great sense of humor. Thank you, Mrs. Anderson, for everything you do to support our staff, care for our students, and connect with our families. We appreciate the many ways you help keep our school running each and every day!

4th Grade Families - We look forward to seeing everyone for our Vocal Concert this evening. Please have your learner head to their classroom at 5:30 for the 6:00 start time. Please use doors A3 (main entrance), C5 (lunch room), or D1 (east gym) to enter. Doors will unlock at 5:15. We will have a full gymnasium!

📚 Celebrating National Library Week This week, we recognize the incredible impact of our librarian, Mrs. Huls. She creates a welcoming space where curiosity grows, stories come to life, and students develop a lifelong love of reading. From helping students find the perfect book to supporting research and exploration, Mrs. Huls plays an essential role in our school community every single day. We loved kicking off our morning with High Five Friday alongside our amazing community partners! 🙌 A big thank you to the Children’s Museum staff and Kiddoodle for bringing energy, smiles, and positivity to our school today. Our students were thrilled to start their day with such a warm welcome!

A huge shoutout to BHS Senior and Miss Siouxland Teen, Evian Johnson, for spending time with our 5th graders during Disability Awareness Week! She shared the powerful story “Finding My Superpower: A Book for Dyslexic Thinkers” and opened up about her own journey, reminding our students that differences are truly strengths. Thank you for inspiring our students, celebrating uniqueness, and showing that everyone has their own superpower! #ChooseToInclude
