The Dakota Prairie PTA meets on the first Thursday of the month (September, November, January, March, and May) at 7 pm in the Dakota Prairie Commons. Meetings include updates on school happenings, informational speakers, and planning for school-wide events.  The Dakota Prairie PTA supports all aspects of the school, through volunteering, providing snacks and meals for staff, and providing financial assistance as needed for projects, materials, and events.  PTA also host multiple family events throughout the year.  Please join us!

• Donate Books

  • PTA is always collecting gently used books to support our teachers' classroom libraries! Drop these in the entryway.
    

• Save HyVee Receipts

  • Drop them in the box in the entryway.  Receipts help us to earn money to support the school!
    

• Collect Box Tops

  • This is done electronically at home by YOU! This also helps us to earn money for the school.
    

• Watch for Sign-Ups

  • We send sign-ups for meals/snacks for conferences as well as needed items for events like our dance.  Every donation helps us to offset the costs of these events. 
    

• Join PTA or Sign Up for our Emails

  • Everyone is welcome to join our PTA.  More importantly, we would love to have your email address so that we can keep you updated on all of the events and happenings at DP.  Watch for paperwork at Back to School Days or check the entryway for a PTA paper to sign up!
