Please join us in celebrating Josaphine (Jo) Abbas, a 7th grader from Mickelson Middle School, for outstanding recognition in the VFW Patriot’s Pen essay contest. Her achievements include:
First place in the local Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest, advanced and placed in the District Level Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest, and selected to be honored at the VFW Legislative Conference Luncheon in Pierre. Her essay will now advance to the national competition!
