Brookings High School Presents The Addams Family November 16 and 17 at 7pm and November 18 at 2pm in the Bell Auditorium. Reserved tickets go on sale Saturday, November 11 from 9am to noon in the BHS Commons and November 13-17 in the BHS Activities Office 8am to 4pm. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour before the show. $6 for adults and $4 students/seniors Activity Cards will be accepted and must be presented at the time of reserving tickets as well as at the door when coming to see the show. THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family–a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before–keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

It's going to be a great week of learning at Hillcrest. Please remember to send hats and gloves/mittens every day. Labeling them makes it easier to return those lost items to the right student.

The temperatures are dropping and the season is changing. Please remember to send a winter coat with your learner each day. This chart details the requirements for the different temperatures. When we have snow on the ground, learners MUST have snow pants and snow boots. If you need help with any winter clothing, please let your teacher know. Also, if you have extra snow pants, winter jackets, or mittens/gloves, we can use them at school. Learners will be outside as much as possible. We know the fresh air is important and great opportunity to play with friends.
