This year, we gave our fall celebration an academic twist! Students dressed up as something connected to their classroom learning, transforming our hallways into a vibrant showcase of creativity and knowledge.
Costumes brought lessons to life in exciting ways:
Vocabulary words – Students embodied words like "courageous," "inventor," or "nocturnal."
Alphabet characters – Our youngest learners paraded as their favorite letters
Literary and historical figures – From beloved book characters to historical heroes
Science and math concepts – Think clouds for weather units, geometric shapes, or planets from our solar system
Teachers partnered with students to brainstorm costume ideas that celebrated what they've been studying, turning the day into a meaningful learning experience wrapped in fun. The result? Hallways filled with imagination, pride, and the joy of learning—and memories that will last far beyond today!
