The Brookings School District is excited to welcome families to our Early Learning Program! We offer comprehensive preschool services for children ages 4 and 5. Our full-day, tuition-based preschool program is offered on-site, with lunch and snacks available for an additional cost. Families who need extended care may enroll in Continued Education through the Boys & Girls Club, offered before and after school at the same location for an additional fee. We look forward to partnering with your family for a year filled with learning, growth, and connection.

Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the year they begin preschool.

The current fees (2025/2026) for both the Preschool Program and Boys & Girls Club Continued Education Program are shown below:

• Full-Day Preschool Program: $500 per month

  • Lunch: $3.20 per day

  • Snack: $1.40 each (two snacks offered per day)

• Continued Education Program through the Boys & Girls Club: $200 per month

*2026/2027 fees have not been finalized at this time.

• Eligibility: Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the year they begin preschool.

➡️ STEP 2: Pay the Deposit

A $100 non-refundable deposit (cash or check) should be delivered to the Brookings School District Administration Office at 2130 8th Street South within 5 days of completing the pre-registration form.

➡️ STEP 3: Watch for Additional Information

As the school year approaches, we will notify you of your child’s assigned school and teacher. Families will also be contacted to complete the district’s required online registration and to provide additional documentation.
