The Brookings School District Board of Education has earned the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) Silver ALL Award for the 2024–25 school year, a distinction that celebrates their dedication, leadership, and commitment to students. The award is part of the ASBSD Board Recognition Program, which honors school boards across South Dakota for their ethical service and active engagement in professional growth.

The ALL Award highlights board participation in three key areas: ACT, LEARN, and LEAD.

  • ACT recognizes involvement in statewide and national board functions, such as the Annual Convention, Delegate Assembly, or NSBA Conference.

  • LEARN focuses on ongoing training and development, including workshops, regional events, webinars, and online courses.

  • LEAD honors board members who take on leadership roles or participate in leadership-focused activities, such as serving as state board officers or representing their district at key gatherings.

Through their continued engagement in these areas, the Brookings School District Board of Education has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing their effectiveness and strengthening their service to students. Congratulations to the board for earning this recognition and for their ongoing efforts that benefit learners, staff, and the entire Brookings community.
