The Brookings School Board has appointed Teresa Binkley to fill the current vacancy on the board. After interviewing eight strong candidates, the Board selected Binkley for her recent board experience and her clear commitment to supporting students, staff, and families across the district.
Binkley will serve in this role until the next school board election, which is expected to be held in either June or November, pending a decision by the Board in December.
