Autumn Peterson, 2nd Grade Teacher at Dakota Prairie Elementary
Mrs. Peterson is compassionate, kind, caring, and makes learning fun and engaging for her students. You can truly feel her love for teaching in everything she does. I appreciate all of the hard work she puts into creating a fun-loving and safe space for her learners.
She is also wonderful at communicating with families and frequently shares classroom activities so parents can get a sneak peek into their child's day. It's not something that is required, but it is truly appreciated!
My son loves coming to school because of Mrs. Peterson, and as a parent, that makes my heart so happy. I would love for her to be recognized with this award so she knows she is making an impact on little minds each day and that her efforts do not go unnoticed.
