It's Homecoming time, Bobcats! 🐾

Brookings High School Homecoming is just a couple of weeks away, and preparations are underway for the 2026 Bobcat Homecoming Parade!

This year's Homecoming theme is "Cats Get the Crown...The Fall of Sparta!" as the Bobcats prepare to take on the Spearfish Spartans on Friday night.

Homecoming Parade - Friday, September 25
Brookings School District classes will dismiss at 12:00 PM, with the parade beginning at 2:00 PM in downtown Brookings.

Parade Route:
The parade will begin at 6th Street and 5th Avenue, travel south on 5th Avenue to Front Street, west on Front Street to Main Avenue, and then north on Main Avenue, ending at 6th Street.

Last year's parade featured more than 70 entries, and we'd love to make this year's parade even bigger!

School groups, athletic teams, clubs, organizations, businesses, and community groups are invited to participate. Coaches, advisors, managers, directors, business owners, and other community group leaders can [register their parade entry here].

Parade entries are due by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22.
