The Brookings School District would like to announce that the "Patricia M. Larson Award for Excellence in Elementary Education" is open for nominations. This award is an on-going tribute in memory of Patricia M. Larson who dedicated her life to children's education.
The award is $2,000 to the teacher and $2,000 to the school where he/she is employed. Any Brookings colleague, school administrator, student, parent, or community member may make the nominations for Brookings K-5 teachers. If you feel that there is a special teacher within the Brookings School District, please consider nominating them for this wonderful award. The deadline for nominations is April 1st.
